On the 25th day of the 10th month of the Wood Ox Year (December 7, 2023), the Vikramashila Academy was founded with the purpose of supporting translation activities of the glorious Drikung Kagyu tradition. Our aim is to promote the Dharmadhara study and practice program, to recruit, educate and train new translators, and to conduct research and integrate digital solutions.

Our vision is to fully translate all the teachings of Kyobpa Jigten Sumgon, as well as those of his teacher Phagmodrupa and later Drikungpas such as Rinchen Phuntsok, Konchog Trinlé, Tenzin Pemé Gyaltsen and others.

The Vikramashila Academy has produced more than 60 hours of video with Khenchen Nyima Gyaltsen's teachings on the Single Intention and the Essence of the Mahayana Teachings. The Tibetan language videos will be subtitled in English and German and made available to the worldwide Sangha.
